John Legend Tells the World What Education Means to Him
Recently, Get Schooled celebrity education ambassador and 9 time Grammy Award winner, John Legend, sat down for an interview about education with YouTubes World View. In the interview, he explains that even at a young age he was trying to make a difference in the education realm. In his high school, 500 students started out in his class, but only 250 graduated. To combat this devastating statistic, John started a peer tutoring program his senior year so that students who were really excelling in class would be able to help out those students who were struggling.
How would you help students stay on track to graduate?
